The natural Cleft Black sandstone when naturally splitted, splits it self in thicker slabs thus more calibration has to be done on the slabs, as compared to other Riven Indian sandstones. Also when performing calibration more breakages comes in the process specifically on the Black sandstone thus costing and pricing of the sandstone is much higher than others.
The sagar area is remote and backward area. Thus all the processing done by machinery, which includes, Sawing, Calibrating and tumbling has to be done in Kota area. This transport cost additionally adds to the finished goods pricing.
