About the Stone
Black basalt is a natural volcanic stone formed from cooled lava — often called lava stone in architecture and design circles. It's prized for its dense, uniform black colour, fine grain, and genuine durability, which is why it shows up everywhere from cladding panels to garden cobbles to polished interior floors.
Our basalt is quarried in the Kota district of Rajasthan, where our factory sits close enough to the quarry area that we control quality from raw block to finished slab.
