Indian green marble is quarried in the hills around Udaipur in southern Rajasthan, and it is the stone most people picture when they hear the words green marble. The ground is a deep forest green, crossed by veins of lighter green and white that give each slab its own movement.
It is a stone for moments rather than whole floors: a feature wall, a vanity top, a reception counter, a fireplace surround, a table top, or inlay work set into a white floor. Under a polished finish the colour deepens and the veining catches the light.
Most green marble is rich in serpentine, which reacts to water differently from other marbles. It is best fixed with an epoxy or suitable rapid-setting adhesive rather than a wet cement bed. We advise on this before every order.

Jaisalmer Yellow comes from the far west of Rajasthan, and it is the stone the golden fort and havelis of Jaisalmer are built from. Its colour runs from pale honey to a deep, sunlit yellow, and some pieces carry small fossil marks that buyers often seek out.
Geologically it is a fine-grained limestone that the Indian trade has long sold as Jaisalmer marble. That makes it softer than the true marbles in this collection and very easy to cut, carve and shape, which is why it is used so widely for cladding, flooring, jaali screens and carved detail.
Like any limestone it should be sealed after installation, and acidic spills should be wiped up quickly. In return it gives a warmth that no white stone can.

Toronto is one of the most strongly patterned Indian marbles. An ivory to cream ground is swept by wavy bands of brown, rust and grey, so a polished floor or wall reads almost like a landscape painting.
Because the pattern is so strong, it is at its best where it can run uninterrupted: a living-room floor laid from matched slabs, a lobby wall, a staircase or a large table top. Pair it with plain walls and simple joinery and let the stone lead.
Colour and banding vary from block to block, so we photograph the slabs available for your order before cutting, and can keep a project to slabs from the same lot.

Fantasy Brown has a white to soft grey ground with long, flowing waves of taupe, brown and charcoal. The movement is linear rather than cloudy, which gives it a calm but contemporary feel on long runs of countertop.
It is sold as a marble, and it is a dolomitic stone that is noticeably harder than the classic calcite marbles. That is why it has become a favourite for kitchen counters, islands and vanities in India and abroad.
Stone from different blocks can behave differently, so we always suggest testing a sample with a few drops of lemon juice before specifying it for a busy kitchen. Seal it after installation, as with any natural stone.

Agariya White (also spelled Agaria) is a Rajasthan white marble with a clean, bright ground and fine, soft grey veining. It is a popular choice for homes, staircases and prayer rooms.
It gives a room light without the cost of an imported white, and it looks equally at home in a traditional interior or a minimal one. Laid as large slabs or as tiles, it keeps a floor calm and open.
As a calcite marble it can etch with acids such as lemon, vinegar and some cleaners, so it is best sealed and cleaned with a pH-neutral stone cleaner.

Viscount White has a white ground with bold waves of grey and charcoal that sweep across the slab. From across a room it reads as a dramatic veined marble.
Strictly speaking it is an Indian gneiss and is traded internationally as a granite. It sits in this collection because buyers choose it for the same flowing look as marble, with a harder, more forgiving surface for kitchens and busy floors.
Because the waves are so graphic, slab selection matters. We photograph the slabs for your order so you can plan where the movement falls on an island or a wall.
The choice is mostly about colour and movement. Where one stone behaves differently in use, the table says so.

Marble has been used in Indian homes, palaces and temples for centuries. It asks for a little care, not a lot.
These apply to every stone on this page. Viscount White and Fantasy Brown are the most forgiving; Agariya White and Jaisalmer Yellow need the most attention to acids.
Seal after installation and reseal from time to time. If a few drops of water darken the surface within minutes, it is time to reseal.
Warm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic, bleach-based or abrasive cleaners, which dull the polish and wear down the sealer.
Lemon, vinegar, wine and tomato can etch calcite marble and limestone. Wipe spills straight away and use coasters and boards on counters.

Yes. Marble and limestone have some porosity, so they should be sealed after installation and resealed from time to time. Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner, and wipe up acidic spills such as lemon, vinegar and wine quickly.

Per project. The price depends on the stone, the slabs selected, the size, thickness, finish and quantity. In India GST is extra and transport is quoted to your site. Export orders are quoted separately.
